Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Intel Dashboard ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and any party to whom you forward Platform output.
2. Description of Service
Intel Dashboard is an analytical platform operated by the Emerging Technologies Lab ("ETL") that provides eighteen tools and one publishing layer:
- Card 01, Source Reliability Scoring. structured tradecraft assessment of a single user-supplied source: source type, credibility score, bias indicators, missing corroboration, analyst note.
- Card 02, Multi-Source Corroboration Checker. takes two to five labeled sources covering the same topic and returns six categories of cross-source finding (corroborated claims, contradictions, uncorroborated single-source claims, framing convergence, provenance notes, evidentiary gaps) with quoted evidence per finding and a 0-100 convergence score.
- Card 03, Deception & Manipulation Indicators. pattern-based scan of any text for tradecraft-relevant signals across six categories (linguistic deception cues, emotional manipulation, propaganda techniques, omission patterns, narrative framing, psy-ops indicators). Signal flagging, not lie detection; does not characterize the author.
- Card 04, Cognitive Bias Detector. pattern-based scan of an analytic product for six cognitive biases (confirmation, anchoring, availability, mirror imaging, satisficing, premature closure) with severity, evidence quotes, and mitigations.
- Card 05, Missing Questions Engine. takes an analytic product and surfaces the questions the report did not ask, missing angles, blind spots in the framing or evidence base, and alternative interpretations of the same evidence.
- Card 06, Timeline Reconstruction Engine. takes a single block of user-supplied text and returns a chronological timeline of events with actors, locations, asserted causal links, and gaps in the chronology.
- Card 07, Narrative to Matrix Converter. takes a narrative (report, after-action, transcript, court filing) and returns three matrices: actor by action, event by location, and claim by evidence with support level.
- Card 08, Actor Network Mapping. text-based network extraction of actors, relationships with direction and strength, and missing nodes the source structure suggests but does not name.
- Card 09, Pattern Recognition. vector-embedding pipeline for unstructured incident data with unsupervised clustering.
- Card 10, Threat Actor Pattern Extraction. structured extraction of tradecraft pattern from an incident description or threat report across six categories (TTPs observed, tooling fingerprints, targeting profile, operational tempo, attribution considerations, gaps and unknowns) with quoted evidence and an analyst action per pattern. Pattern extraction, not actor naming; does not assign the activity to an APT group or nation-state.
- Card 11, Symbol Intelligence. dictionary lookup, civilian reporting, and law-enforcement-gated mapping for hate and extremist symbols.
- Card 12, OPSEC Risk Scan. defensive pre-publication review of any document for sensitive details, operational vulnerabilities, PII, inadvertent disclosures, and exploitable patterns, with quoted evidence and concrete mitigations.
- Card 13, Red-Team Question Generator. takes a scenario, hypothesis, or analytic product and returns adversary-perspective questions, rival hypotheses with the conditions under which each would be more probable, named assumption challenges, and specific break conditions.
- Card 14, Structured Analytic Techniques Wizard. runs one of four classic SATs against a user-supplied analytic question, hypothesis, or product: Analysis of Competing Hypotheses (ACH), Key Assumptions Check (KAC), Indicators and Warnings (I&W), or Premortem Analysis. Each technique returns its own technique-specific structured output.
- Card 15, SLR Studio. structured literature review against open academic databases.
- Card 16, Dual-Use Triage. awareness-mode briefings for retail and research-security settings.
- Card 17, Document Gap Analysis. ingests user-supplied unstructured text and identifies coverage gaps, recurring patterns, and unaddressed seams.
- Card 18, Operational Readiness. parses resumes and CVs through a competency-extraction engine.
- Intel Publisher: formats outputs from any module into branded briefing memos, threat memos, or publication-ready documents.
- Puzzle of the Day: a daily intel-tradecraft exercise where the user reads a source and submits a credibility read against a curated answer key. Streak and accuracy data are stored in the user’s browser only.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes consistent with the Platform’s intended use as a defensive and research tool. You will not use the Platform to:
- Plan, support, or facilitate violence, terrorism, or any harmful act against persons, infrastructure, or systems.
- Develop, acquire, or weaponize chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) capabilities.
- Conduct surveillance, harassment, doxxing, or targeted intelligence-gathering against individuals without lawful authority.
- Generate disinformation, hate speech, or content that incites violence against protected classes.
- Circumvent the Platform’s safety features, rate limits, or access controls.
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the Platform’s underlying models, prompts, or proprietary logic.
- Submit content you do not have the legal right to upload (including third-party PII, classified documents, or copyrighted material without permission).
Card 04 (Dual-Use Triage) and Card 06 (Symbol Intelligence) are designed for awareness, education, and defensive research. They are not designed for, and may not be used for, offensive targeting, profiling individuals based on protected characteristics, or any operational law-enforcement purpose without independent verification.
4. User Content
Drafts and uploads. Documents, resumes, corpora, and similar inputs you provide ("User Content") remain your property. You grant ETL a limited license to process User Content solely to deliver the requested analysis. ETL does not retain User Content on its servers beyond what is required to return your response, except as described in the Privacy Policy.
Branding assets. Logos, signatures, and organization details you upload to the Intel Publisher are stored only in your browser’s local storage. They do not transit ETL servers unless you explicitly submit them via the “Use my brand” consent flow.
Symbol reports. If you submit a report through Card 06 (Symbol Intelligence), you grant ETL and its designated law-enforcement partners the right to review, store, and act on your submission for the purposes of investigation, public safety analysis, and statistical reporting. See the Privacy Policy for handling specifics.
5. Output Disclaimer
Outputs generated by Intel Dashboard, including pattern reports, gap analyses, dual-use triage briefings, literature summaries, and symbol identifications, are analytical aids, not professional advice. They are produced in part by large language models and may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinated content.
Output from the Platform does not constitute:
- Legal advice or a legal opinion.
- Medical, mental-health, or clinical guidance.
